Vocal Envy and Frances Caroll take the stage at Art in Motion for an evening of Music! As part of our Matchmaking music series.

Art in Motion committed to supporting local musicians at all levels. The Matchmaking concert series is a mentorship pairing program we hope will organically contribute to the growth and enrichment of musicians in our area.

For you, the audience, this means that you will get to hear TWO groups perform in one evening AND IT’S FREE TO ATTEND! We do still encourage donations to the musicians.

About the Bands

Frances Caroll

Music has been a part of Frances’ life as early as 3 years old when she began learning the violin. Throughout her life she’s also dabbled in piano, and most recently the baritone ukulele. After attending a song writing residency at the Institute of Esalen, Frances has begun writing her own music. She Primarily performs Jazz, Folk and Acoustic Music.

Vocal Envy

We formed Vocal Envy, a small acapella group based in Centra Minnesota, in the late summer of 2015. We are based in Central Minnesota, and our 5 singers range in age from 20s through 70s. We sing a capella arrangements of most genres of music, primarily pop, jazz, and musical theater. Our concerts tend to be upbeat and happy, a little funny, and at times a little sentimental. We are total pop music die hards.
