Statement from the Gallery

The intention of this exhibit is to highlight stories from local Return Peace Corps Volunteers and the impact their service had on their own lives and the on the communities they served. The goal of this exhibit is to encourage global mindedness, empathy, and curiosity.

The Return Peace Corps Volunteers that contributed to this exhibit answered our call for submissions and were given creative freedom to tell their own story through personal essays, photos, and mementos from their time volunteering.

The stories in this show cover a wide range of experiences in different countries, eras, and assignments.
